MidKent college now hold an annual Community Day where the staff are given the day off to work in the community. A group of 16 ladies from the Additional Learning Support department came along and worked at Maidstone Mencap.

 

 

They painted the wood on the outside of the building,  the outside handrails, repainted the yellow lines on the steps, sanded and repainted the Wendy house and benches, strimmed the weeds and weeded the outside of the building and sorted out all the donations that we receive. They all had a great time but were worn out by the end of the day!
